Samuel Smith's Yorkshire Stingo 550ml, 9% - England


Pours sort of red/copper with a creamy tan head.

Malts, caramel, dark fruits, biscuit and hints of spices in the aroma.

A great mixture of dark fruits in the flavor. Malts, biscuit, caramel and spices. Hints of oak and alcohol towards the end.

Innis & Gunn Limited Edition Highland Cask 330ml, 7.1% - Scotland


Clear copper with a short head.

Quite a sour aroma with hints of wood.

Creamy flavor, full of caramel and fruits. No sign of whiskey here. Another let down from I&G.

Coopers Vintage Ale 375ml, 7.5% - Australia


Pours deep copper with a tan head.

Malts, citric notes and hints of dark fruits in the aroma.

The flavor reflects the aroma. A rather boring beer. I expected more from this.

Harviestoun Number Of The Beast Metal Edition 330ml, 6.66% - Scotland


Pours clear, light amber with a high white, frothy head.

Hoppy and malty aroma. A bit fruity with some citrus. Pretty much the same goes for the flavor.

Don't buy this!

Midtfyns Gunners Ale 500ml, 7.3% - Denmark


Poured murky light red with a little head.

Sweet malty aroma. Lot's of caramel and dark fruits. A bit bready.

The flavor reflects the aroma. Lot's of caramel and raisins. Quite drinkable actually, considering the high ABV!

Nils Oscar Kalaspåsköl 2010 330ml, 5.6% - Sweden


Poured red amber with almost no head.

Slightly roasted malts, some chocolate, malty and bready aroma.

Roasted malts, some tobacco, caramel, syrup and brown sugar. This tastes a lot like an English Porter. Quite sweet, but pleasant at the same time.

Pumpviken Påsköl 500ml, 5.8% - Sweden


Poured red with pretty much no head.

Lot's of dark fruits up front, mostly prunes. Malty and sweet aroma.

Strong bitter flavor. Huge amount of prunes and raisins. Malty and bready.

I didn't expect this at all.

Golden Pride 500ml, 8.5% - England


Amber color with a two finger crispy head.

Citrus, malts and caramel aroma.

Strong taste, lot's of alcohol with sweetness. Some caramel and hops at the end. I even get small hints of cherries.

Nothing special really..!

Fuller's 1845 500ml, 6.3% - England


Poured dark red with a one finger light brown, fluffy head. Which is just floating in the glass.

Very malty and bready aroma.

Amazing taste. Simultaneously sweet and bitter. Malty, with hints of caramel. Pleasant bitter aftertaste.

Lovely beer indeed! Creamy and gentle.

Twelve Days 500ml, 5.5% - England


Poured coal dark with a thick cappuccino, almost two finger head.

Sweet and malty smell with a touch of caramel.

A pleasing taste of roasted malts, followed by hops and finished off with a creamy caramel after taste.

Bitterness, abv and carbonation work well together.
